Went last year, great apart from the exit procedure from the car parks...wrong weekend this year so will be going to Shoreham instead the week before.

Just bought tickets but not sure which day we will be going - waiting for news on which day the weather will be better.
PS: which car club?

Got there rather late last year due to the traffic queues and found the pay-cash queues too long as we both needed the loos VERY badly - so went to the local pub, and so missed the Lancs! Then went back to the car parks to watch what we could from there.
However, this year, from the W&W emails I got recently, there will be toilets in the car parks and better cash-pay arrangements - so should be easier to get in if you don't have tickets. Also the traffic arrangements should be improved - will post details if I can.
However, you really WILL have to get to the area early as the surrounding roads are narrow and twisty, and there WILL be LONG queues for a long distance from the actual site entrances.
PS: there's a special ticket deals this week only - again, I will post the links ASAP.

See http://www.wingsandwheels.net/ for event details
Various routes to ticket purchase seem to be available but the prices then seem to vary – this seems to be the route to the cheapest available at the moment
http://wingsandwheels.seetickets.com/event/wings-wheels/dunsfold-aerodrome/83691... and use the code “WWSEE15” because this seems to a possible 10% discount rate for a limited time.
Adult tickets by that route are £21.00 (minus the discount) + £2.25 transaction cost (But not on debit cards) and £2.50 postage as added a bit later in the process – total for us (credit card! Duh) was £44.25.
Otherwise you could pay about another £5-£6 for 2 tickets if you take the more obvious route!

From a W&W email last week on Traffic management :
"New Traffic Initiatives
Following the sell-out success of Wings & Wheels in 2014, the team have come up with a raft of new initiatives to help improve the show, a key part of which is traffic and parking management.
The traffic and parking plan has undergone a comprehensive review and heavy investment to bring the following changes:
• Additional entrance gate and car park facility directly off the A281, which will increase capacity by 50% during peak flows
• Variable Message Signs (VMS) located on approach roads providing up to date event notifications and travel time information
• Additional car park Marshals
• More comprehensive external junction management and at a wider periphery including, for example, control at the junction between the B2130 (Godalming Road) and Dunsfold Common Road
• Journey Time Monitoring which will allow the traffic team to review the external roads and adapt the entry systems and direct traffic more accurately to keep roads flowing
• Additional ticket selling staff on entry
• Special 'Cash Only' quick entry ticket sales
• Toilet facilities located in the car park
• Camping moved to a location adjacent to the aerodrome to free up more parking space on site and provide a dedicated campsite entrance
• A public bus service four times a day from Guildford Train Station in partnership with Compass Travel (Sussex Ltd)
The entire site will continue to be monitored by CCTV so we have a real-time awareness of traffic and parking issues. We are also providing evening entertainment and late night catering options to encourage visitors to stay behind and avoid leaving during the peak rush which we anticipate being between 16:30 and 18:30.
We are also increasing the awareness of our Wings & Wheels event radio which provides up to date traffic information during peak times and is on 87.9FM."

My wife is very upset about witnessing some of what happened at Shoreham on Saturday, and so she won't be going to Dunsfold this weekend, although I believe that I will.
Therefore I've now got a spare advance-booking ticket which can be used on either Saturday or Sunday (not sure which day I'm going along) - anyone interested in it?

I will be up in North Wales, hoping to see the Vulcan then - as the sea front is fairly straight I don't think there will be the same level of concern compared with an inland show. Otherwise I would have taken the ticket.
Although I would say, even though I was stunned by the events on Saturday in Shoreham, my appetite for air shows is not diminished. However, all the photos I took at Shoreham will not be downloaded, a painful reminder.

Confirming that I will be going on Saturday as the weather looks better than Sunday - so does anyone want that spare ticket (else I will try to flog it to someone in the cash entry queue!)?
