will the lens fit.
thanks guys was getting lost with all that sensor stuff. There is a km on ebay with a 18-55mm lenses for £368, it is 8mths old. Does this represent value: for money.
It's a good camera.
It does have a mirror viewfinder instead of a prism one and it has less manual controls so you will rely on the automatic modes of the camera more. It's just with what you're happy with.
Instead of the K-M try to find a K200D it's a small step above the K-M, they handle the same but the K200D is weathersealed slightly bigger, can get a grip for it, has more focus points and focus indication in the viewfinder.

Not compared to this K200D:

Sorry for being a pain but all help is appreciated, dont want to spend all that money without some advise and my local shops are crap.
However the lenses without an Auto-aperture work less pleasantly but it will fit on any Pentax DSLR.
The K10D is a fine camera, as is any other Pentax one it's just with what you want.
If you love to have control (shutterspeed, ISO, Aperture) then the K10D, K20D or the K7 are beter.
If you just use AV or TV and don't need more controls then that then the K200D, K-M or the K-X is more then enough.
I wouldn't go older then the ones I named since they don't work fully with the new focus system (SDM), besides the K100D super that is but for the same money you should be able to get the K200D.
thanks iceblinker, will my lenses fit this one and is it better value than the one impotentspider linked me to.
Your lenses will fit all the Pentax digital SLRs.
The K10D (or K10D GP) at that sort of price is similarly good value. Personally I prefer the K10D (for its viewfinder and extra control dial), but others may prefer the K200D as it's a bit smaller and newer; it also has "scene" modes.

No problem. You're quite right to ask lots of questions.
