Hi all, got my hands on a old Tamron f6.9 400mm lens with a k mount, but the lens is a bit loose when mounted on the camera, takes shots ok, no problems, but with it being a bit heavy , would it damage my camera in the long run.
cheers

Hold the lens, not the camera.

George is absolutley right but I wouldn't put anything that 'feels a bit loose' on a camera

I have heard that Tamron's mounts can come loose. It might be worth checking the screws on the mount on the lense itself. If it is not a tight fit on the camera it could cause some extra wear on the camera's mount.
