Well to be fair your note is to 'self' not 'wife' so that's OK.

Indeed, and there is nothing to say I can't buy her one in return.

Except the desire for a long healthy life? (Unless your wife is also a forum member, I can never remember who is with who)

Just out of curiosity, what lens did "she" buy you?

He can't open it 'till Christmas day so he doesn't know!
Cheers, HG

K110+DA40, K200+DA35, K3 and a bag of lenses, bodies and other bits.

Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...

PPG entries.

So she didn't get you the DA* 55 then? I bet you're excited... not sure I would be able to wait until the 25th

Nope,my son bought me that for a new years present.
Not got that yet anyway, it's on hold until the voucher arrives at Misfuds.

I'm not letting them buy me anything else now though, I think they have been more than generous.

Now who can I get (that the wife will believe) to buy the K-7

Say that you spent 10 minutes doing promo photos for a bank and the lens was your share of the government bailout bonus
