Anyone have one of the above ? if so does it feel tight when zoomed from 35 to 70 BUT pointing down !? It's ok horizontal or pointing up, but heavy as hell when pointed down ! Is this normal ??

Just done some tests on this lens for resolution/clarity (centre and edge), and I'm amazed !! I heard it was good, which is why I went looking for one, but it really is GOOD !! Beats my DA18-55 hands down !

It's staying on my camera now !!

Yes, in his range it performs like a prime, even full open. What's more it often goes for ridiculous prices.

As you say, even wide open !! a very good little lens, and it is, little that is, it's quite tiny and the Macro seems to be about 1:2 !? very handy.

Mine cost £10 and came with a free camera (albeit a film one)

I think it's only 1:4 on FF 24x36mm thus, due to the smaller size, on APS-C sensors it works like a 1.5:4 (circa 1:2.7)
