Hi Emma there are a lot of landscape lenses out there Take the DA16-45mm second hand maybe around (£170) / or Sigma 10-20mm £300ish sigma's 18-50mm and 17-70mm about £300 .There is also a DA17-70mm but it's quite expensive at the moment.

Also good to note that you have a Pentax camera which opens up a whole host of older A / M /FA series lenses which cost much less but only having manual focus.Don't be put off by these lenses i'm buying some of them myself at the moment on ebay.

What sort of budget do you have.

There you go Emma. You'll have to do a bit of rumiging though.I spend most of my ebay time on this search.
There are some lenses going cheap but just watch out for internal fungus on the lens which is not good.Try and get a lens at the best quality possible.

Martin understands the part clouds play in good landscape photography.

I think you will find my search narrows it down rather more.

Depends on your (physical) viewpoint. When the 10-17 Fisheye came out, several people posted landscape pictures on here taken at 10mm. They were fine.

Quite the reverse. As I said, a great deal depends on your viewpoint. If you are somewhere like the Lake District, where the mountains crowd in on you, you might be glad of the widest wide-angle you can find.

But if I were on a budget (but not too drastic a budget!), and had to choose just one lens for all landscape photography, it might well be the 16-45 zoom.
