Who says you can't shoot bugs with the 35mm Macro?

A shot from the Stowe trip today, borrowed K-7 and 35mm macro. The shadow on the grass at the bottom is from the lens hood... K-7, 35mm Macro, 1/500s, f/5.6, ISO200. If I'd remembered to push the lens hood in, I'm sure I could have got nearer. This was using autofocus, which is unusual for me with macro. It did save me having to have my hand on the lens, which may have frightened the damselfly off. Dan

Originally the first picture was of the damsel fly - I can remember seeing it as a bright red one flew past me.

When I came back to the thread later, it had changed to the church.
