Messing about in Corel with Landscapes

I have been looking at the results people have had on here with their landscapes and we had some wonderful cloudy skies today I went out and had a go with the Pentax 18-55mm MKII. Then I had a play in corel. I have never tried anything like this before as so would be interested to hear what you think.

The first one makes you wrinkle up your brow and say huh? But the sky in both pictures are dramatic!

The first is an eyecatcher for sure.
