Lovely shots Will,
I haven't been this last year, since getting the DL, but the Highlands really are a photographer's dream. IMO some of the most beautiful scenery in Europe (and up there with the best in the world, although I haven't been there to find out.. )
I really would like some misty shots of Rannoch Moor next time I'm there.
Cheers

Liam - thanks for the pos comments...
Quick question but probably not the quickest of answers - how do I do a direct link to my shots so that the pic is visible here as you have done with those dusk shots up on the other recent threads?
Cheers!

Hi Will,
You need to put the link to the JPG file and not the page. In this case it should be between the img links.

PS Nice shot

Hi Will,
you need to put the url of the actual image in the
tags.
I seem to remember that there is some sort of copyright issue with hotlinking (displaying the image from an external site, rather than just posting a link) pbase images, even though they're your images????
Matt will know more, but for instance, the first image would be tagged thus..
[ img ]http://i5.pbase.com/o6/42/735842/1/71950942.DRyu7Mov.RiverEtive_05crop.tif[ /img ]
I've put spaces inside the image tags to get around the above problem, but you can see the idea.
Hope that helps,
Cheers

The link you put won't work. You have given the title of the picture which comes up under file properties rather than the stored file which is a JPG.
If it proves that you are not allowed to link directly, I have some spare space on the Pentax Manuals site and can host them there for people.

Said I'd have a play and try to direct link a couple more images from my trip up to Scotland, so here goes...
http://www.pbase.com/diffractionphotography/image/72891521
http://www.pbase.com/diffractionphotography/image/71950059
They aren't from a Pentax unfortunately but I'm rather chuffed with them all the same...
But this one is - Pentax 645nII, SMC A 35mm f/3.5
http://www.pbase.com/diffractionphotography/image/72247650
Hope you like 'em... That's if I've linked them properly???

At last I've got the hang of it - for some reason there was a space after the ".jpg and the [/img]"
Fixed the first post with a quick edit and hey-presto![/img]

Love the one of Glencoe with rainbow: I stayed in the Youth Hostel in Glencoe about 40 years ago and played the piano there; wonder if it's still in tune ?

I stopped in the hostel for 4 or 5 nights - there's a cracking pub down the road loads of good local ales and a whisky menu that's pages long! Don't remember any piano tho Peter!
