Well if any of you turn up in a corset next April I'm coming straight homeMust admit Whitby could bring out the exhibitionist in us all
If you really want to see more corsets, you might want to hang around the entrance to Olympia friday through to sunday.
And don`t forget,Corsets fall into Burlesque as well as Goth.

A belated entry from our trip to the Goths Festival at Whitby. Why is a goth in the swimming baths? One of life's little mysteries.

Keep on sending those gothic images!! We don't have them here in South Africa (or not that I know of) but they make such far out pictures.
Cheerio!

I cannot believe that I missed this thread. Fantastic images (well done everyone!) and I can imagine that you had a lot of fun there.
It seems that I have to plan my conference trips a bit more careful

This weekend has ended up costing me a fortune. We already liked Whitby, so as some of you know the family tagged along for the day out. Well Margaret enjoyed the Goth thing that much she has me importing Victorian dresses from the USA and looking into staying for next Aprils event. So beware these Pentax Meets can be Very Expensive.
I think you'll find that it's women who are expensive! Pentax lenses are positively cheap by comparison!

Well as mine hates shopping or spending money I could have replied by saying that my wife is cheap, but it wouldn't come out as intended so I wont bother

Since Graham launched this topic there have been more than 1,600 visits to this thread. With such big interest its worth pencilling in the event again for next April - I'm not sure what the dates are but you can Google them. Maybe next year a lot more Pentaxians will turn up. At the last meet a few weeks ago there was only Impotentspider (Alan), Technoblub (Graham), GReynolds (Gareth), Barrie Forbes and me who got together.

You only need the tickets if you intend going into any of the band venues. You can stalk the street for free

Barry, it's when she starts getting corsets from here that things can get really pricey! A nikon-wielding goth friend of mine, who goes to Whitby every goth-meet, seems quite keen on them. Nice though.
