I found an A 50 F2 at a pawn shop a few days ago. It was the kit lens for the K1000. Nice toy to fool around with...
2x K10D bodies, 2x FA 28-200 3.8-5.6, DA 18-55, A 50 F2, 50mm Macro, 360 FGZ. Still saving for the 60-250 DA* Also have a Z10 35mm and a K1000 just for fun. IF PENTAX IS THE ANSWER, WHO CARES WHAT THE QUESTION IS...!

Yes i think the F2 is much underrated - I have one and its a good as the 1.7 but half the price

Well done on getting close enough with a 50mm to capture one of these buggers! Lovely bokeh and great focus on the eyes.

Thanks for the positive comments - i have been wanderng about this one for a while as to whether the compisition actually works but it seems ok.
