Which window?

Definitive #1 for me. The warm glow gives it a nice touch. Just try to enhance the blue of the window a bit, and make the shadow a bit stronger, for contrast. That would be my work on it.

I prefer the monochrome but as Martin said, up the contrast a bit.
Best wishes, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Hope you don't mind, Hardgravity. I did some minor things to it, to illustrate my comment above.

I opened it in Elements 6.0. Levelled the histogram a bit. There were some gaps on the right and left side. I copied a layer and burned in the shadows a bit. I selected the 2 blue windows, copied them as a seperate layer and used blend mode:"Screen" at 40% luminosity.
Finally I added some high pass filter at 50 % to get some more detail out of the plaster.

I agree with Martin and like what he did, but there's some posterization(?) in the shadow now (at least on my monitor).
Definitely like the tones of #1. The b&w does nothing for me, even if you boosted contrast.

That's due to the very small file, I had to work with.(169kb)
With the original you would have more latitude of course.

The first one, the other 2 look too 'clinical' for me.
For the love of all things photogenic!
