Which Wide angle ?

My recommendations would be the Pentax 17-70 or Sigma 17-70. If you're thinking about something wider (sigma 10-20 etc) my advice would be to try one first if possible, I found I didn't like the distortion/perspective it produced and that it was too wide for my own "style".

How are you getting on with the DA15ltd, Simon? (Was really eyeing it up myself - thank god you bought it!)
I didn't buy it in the end, I'm still unsure if anything wider than the 17-70 would get used much, my previous Sigma 10-20 didn't. When I do eventually make up my mind its more likely to be the 15mm than anything else thoughHow are you getting on with the DA15ltd, Simon? I had always thought that it was something to do with the field of view of the human eye, but that makes much more sense.
