Which Wide angle ?

I had always thought that it was something to do with the field of view of the human eye, but that makes much more sense.

My recommendations would be the Pentax 17-70 or Sigma 17-70. If you're thinking about something wider (sigma 10-20 etc) my advice would be to try one first if possible, I found I didn't like the distortion/perspective it produced and that it was too wide for my own "style".

How are you getting on with the DA15ltd, Simon? (Was really eyeing it up myself - thank god you bought it!)

I didn't buy it in the end, I'm still unsure if anything wider than the 17-70 would get used much, my previous Sigma 10-20 didn't. When I do eventually make up my mind its more likely to be the 15mm than anything else though
