I'm after a snoot bag which will house my K20 + DA*50-135 combo :

Those that know this lens will aware of its length, so maybe I am being a tad optimistic. But if anyone knows of such a bag, i'm all ears

I think snoot bag is a universal term but I have heard it called a snout bag.

No it's not Clarky,
In the UK, and on the Lowepro website, they are called Top Loaders.

I have a Lowepro Cirrus TLZ25(TOP LOADER ZOOM 25),I can fit my K20D with either the SMC DA 18-55 II, or with the SMC DA 55-300, all you do is reverse mount the lens hood on the 55-300.
This bag will not take the camera and the battery grip attached!
Hope this is of use,
regards,
Peter.

I have a couple of Lowepro top loaders. TLZ1 & 2 I think, or maybe TLZ2 & 3. One of them, if not both, will take the K20D + grip + 50-135mm. If you can wait until I get home after 18th feb I can double check and let you know. Neither of them has the AW cover though.

They have shoulder straps but can also be fitted to a belt.

Thanks Pete, I have a TLZ1 and its too small for a 50-135. I was thinking the TLZ2 would suffice but wanted to know if anyone had a better alternative. cheers

What is a snot bag? We just have tissues in the UK and they are definitely not going near my star lenses!

Personally I prefer the slingshot bags as they can hold a lot more. Really the snout bags are for single camera/lens but with the K10/10/200 being weather sealed what do you need a bag for?
