I've been put off buying a blower type sensor cleaner because I wonder the same thing.

Ah!then how do you change the sticky strip when it's full up. and I used the blower and it blew the dust into the focus screen and it is still there!!!

I removed the focus screen and cleaned it, there are still some bits of dust on it but I can live with it, I have not used the blower on my K200 and its fine, so unless I see a lot of dust I won't be using the blower I think a small hoover will be better but they're pricey.

Get either the Arctic Butterfly brush or the Pentax 0-ICK kit to clean your sensor. Better than a blower, which as you have found just moves the dirt around in the body.
