Sorry if this has been posted before, but does the SDHC compatible K10 have the technology to take advantage of the Class 6 data transfer speeds of SDHC or is it not necessary to buy anything more than Class 4? This would equated to the Sandisk Ultra II (which I currently use) but I will be buying an HC card for the greater capacity and would but the Extreme III if the K10 could use the speed.

Unfortunately I cannot get this info from the manual.

I'm not sure we've actually answered the original question here - and it's a question I'd like the answer to also. Unless it's just me mis-understanding things (again), the question being asked is whether the K10D is actually capable of writing data to a memory card at the higher speed of which the Extreme III is capable. If it isn't then it's completely pointless spending the extra money buying the Extreme III (or similar) when an Ultra II will do. The read/write speed is surely nothing to do with the 'capacity' of the card.
