Which lens wrench?
A DIY solid one would be possible but I think I'd try the cheap ones first. If they aren't man enough make your own from something tougher, but the time involved is likely to be worth more than £20.

can anyone shed some light on lens wrenches? There is a plethora of them on eBay and no idea what is the difference between a cheap £10 and pricey £90 one.
I have tried using scissors and other things that would fit but that is a very bad idea Was to deglass a TC, so scratching the glass was not a concern.
I have access to a workshop so perhaps possible to make a solid DIY one?
Cheers,
Aleks
