Wow that's a serious lathe!
I'm not sure it would be any use for me though - can't see it working for making lens adapters.

An interesting link, very skilled work to produce an accurate result - we are able to do some work like that at Whitehead also.

Makes my lathe look like a kid's toy! Tightening the nuts on that tool post looks fun.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
