What will you pay for a New K7D then.

If it's as nice as it looks (and I've liked pretty much everything I've seen and heard so far) then I'll probably snap at around £600. Which means I'll get one in about 18 months / 2 years I reckon...

I don't think you will have much change out of a grand (Body Only) so it's a good job you are patient Heft.

But Hefty has a K10D so going to a K-7 would be a bigger upgrade then from a K20D, I already see with the k20D some usefull option that I might use such as the AF adjustment.

In the netherlands we didn't get the cashback offer shame on you Pentax, maybe this year we get lucky and you don't

I'm with you Hefty, the K7 would be a nice upgrade from my K10D and I really like the styling of this new one. £600 would be about right for me as well. Unless I could get some trade in on my old K10D ... which isn't likely!

I think Terry is nearer the mark and there is an old saying:
"A fool and his money are soon parted"
Think that fits the bill.

The K-7 will not be full frame, I would put Amins shirt on it.
Also you never know if it's going to be full frame cause they've made new lenses to go with it
