What to Do ?

I could soon have a bit to spend but do not quite know which to do.Should I sell my K10D and buy a K5 and hope it makes my 50-500 Bigma a little better or keep the K10D, sell the Bigma and buy a DA 300 f4.I realise I would be losing 200mm but seeing as how the Bigma is really only sharp at 400 max in good light and apparently the 300 f4 is really sharp so would I get just as good photo`s cropped.I hope I have explained that properly.I have just noticed someone is selling a K 7,would that be a good buy ?

skip on forward to a k5ii.

The DA*300 is awsesome I had mine originally on a K10 and now use it on either a K5 or K30. I also use a 150-500 Sigma which I find perfectly acceptable on both too. I must say though that for wildlife the 150-500 has the extra distance which is most useful however it`s IQ is so much better at full stretch using a decent tripod. The K5 is a different creature to the K10 and the K5ii has I`m led to believe a better AF so if you are into wildlife or sport photography would be a good way to go.

I wouldn't bother with a K7 it's not going to add much IQ wise from what you have

So keep the Bigma and get the K5ii it is then,will put the K10D in part ex (it`s only got 3500 shutter count).I am making a big effort to get out and get some pics and have even rigged up something on the wheelchair using a hide clamp and monopod so I can keep things steady.

I would advertise the k10D on here .. you will get more for it.

the low noise, quiet shutter, speed etc etc will amaze you
