I believe that most of the members have 2 or more lenes, then what's your second and third one? My first lens is the kit lens and the second is the 50mm. Still want to find the third one for travel.

Do you mean in what order you bought them, or in what order you place them in terms of adulation?

I can't remember in what order I bought my lenses.

In terms of placing them in order of adulation I would find that very hard to answer. Many of my lenses are very different and cater for different photographic moods and scenarios.

Probably impossible for me to place my lens collection in terms of 1st, 2nd and 3rd, etc

Other than what order I bought them in I can't think of any criteria that would give such an order.

For example 5 of my lenses are the Pentax A 50mm/1.2, Sigma 30mm/1.4, Pentax DA 10-17mm fish eye, Sigma 17-70mm/2.8-4.5 and DA* 50-135mm/2.8

I couldn't possibly rank them as they are all very different.

Mine are:

1st FA50 f/1.4 - nearly always spot on;
2nd DA16-45 f/4 - pretty good, though a little more reach would be nice;
3rd DA (Samsung) 50-200 f/4-5.6 - faster AF than 55-300, easier to carry.

All the right lenses, not necessarily in the right (bought) order!

1 Pentax 18-135mm
2 Pentax 17-70mm
3 Tamron 10-24mm

They are my most used lenses, probably not that brilliant but I'm happy with the results.

Would like to try Pentax 16-50mm and 50-135mm

Not a lot wrong with a 50-200, which would complement the kit 18-55 quite nicely.

Never owned a 'Superzoom' (18-200, 18-250 etc) as I have assumed they might be a case of 'Jack of all trades, master of none', but convenient as part of a travelling kit.

Hmmm, very difficult to answer as my lenses have been purchased with specific purposes in mind.

The one that currently lives on the camera unless there's a reason to use something else is the Tamron 17-50/2.8.

The second choice which was purchased for weather sealing and flexibility is the DA 18-135WR - it's used quite often.

After that, it really does come down to specific purposes as I have a range of primes mostly old some new, can't bear to part with a mint 35-105/3.5 SMCA and use a Tokina 80-400 ATXii when it's needed. I'm not sure what criteria I'd use to choose between them.

1) DA 16-45
2) DA 55-300
3) DA 50 f1.8

All these produce top-notch A3 prints, which is my main criterion. Mind you,I'd love to try something a bit wider and this could end up ranking pretty high if I can be bothered using it.
