What a pallarva!

I put one of my cards into my memory card reader to upload images onto Play memories and it began ok but stopped. It kept asking me to plug in my camera! I restarted the computer and then my pc wouldn't acknowledge the card reader, so taking it round LCE I was told the card reader had 'died' so I had to get a new one. This worked but not all the files could be saved, I'm wondering if the dodgy ex card reader corrupted some of the files off the card.

Has anyone else experienced this problem please?
