Whatever next??!!... A drop test from the back of a Hercules Transporter plane as it flies over Tora Bora in Afghanistan?..
I suspect that Pentax would have involved somebody such as the International Standards Organization (ISO), or equivalent to test this model to destruction in order to substantiate any claims of the camera's rigidity and ruggedness, so as testing goes, this is more of a stupid stunt.

It's been done before by many different people, but this one wasn't done by Pentax.
There was an advert that ran some time ago showing a Nikon SLR that had survided after falling from a helicopter, in Vietnam I think. There have bee TV shows that tried to destruction various compacts by driving over them.
Nothing new, just a bit of fun from the phoblographer.
