mike do you know where in worcester i can get some nice sport pics? I tried to have permission in rugby but not really i'm looking for some motor sport. I heard that somewhere around worcester people are racing on 1/4 mile. Do you know anything about it. thanks

Not really. There's the banger racing at Grimley but that's just old cars being smashed up. There is plenty of off road stuff within 30 miles. There is the hill climb at Shelsly Walsh about 13 miles away and some so called sporting trials around the area.

There's the drag racing that takes place near Stratford on Avon which is possibly what you're thinking of I suppose. If I remember (big if) I will ask at the village garage as one of the lads there has a Skyline (?) that he clearly uses for some sort of possibly legal racing.

Of course Donnington Park near East Midlands airport is only 90 minutes away.

Banger racing is fast and furious but not my kind of thing.

There is off road racing around and about the AWDC have one at Ross On Wye which isn't so far on the 27th June. Visit www.awdc.co.uk and look for comp safari.

www.midlandoffroadcub.co.uk also do comp safari in the Midlands but you just missed this month's event I think.

hello guys, there is automotive show in Worcester on 21st of May, anybody up to that? Mainly High Street full of local car dealerships but local Racecourse will be packed with vintage cars from West Midlands. Regarding to local newspaper oldest car is 1920, sounds good.
