Another superb close-up of a fascinating little creature!

The flash obviously helps, but are you able to get these handheld?

You've done very well here to control the reflections and also to keep the green from over-exposing and turning yellow/green.

Jolly good macro. Are the white bits hairs, rough bits, warts or what?
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

This was taken hand held Nigel but I had the advantage of a sturdy branch to rest on, I find a tripod to slow to set up with live macro, also the size of the flash head can also be a disadvantage poking through the foliage.
I am told the Tamron 60 is a nice little lens for hand held macro but have not tried it myself.
