Lines is the subject. Any sort of lines. Lines in the landscape, lines in architecture, lines in nature, railway lines, power lines, washing lines, you get the idea. Entries close Sunday 12 Midnight GMT.
Camera used must be a Pentax or a closely related Samsung DSLR.

Sorry- is it 1 entry per person and can photos have been taken at any date?

Pa, the weekly competition is in the gallery. You can only enter one photo, and you cannot replace it only remove it if you change your mind.
Must have been taken with a Pentax camera,
but any date is allowed in the weekly comp.
In the fortnightly competition, which is here in the forum, it must be taken during that fortnight.

Aliengrove, was the building in your hotel picture once a prison?

Not that I know of. I-Berg might know more about it as a native of Melbourne?

Just found this:

The Rialto Hotel on Collins consists of two heritage buildings – the brick Romanesque-style Winfield Building designed by William Pitt and Richard Speight Jr’s Gothic-style Rialto Building. Both split by a preserved classic bluestone cobbled laneway, the buildings were constructed in 1891 and originally housed the Melbourne wool stores and offices.
