Lilly pulls it off again! Well done.

I can't help wondering if the silver might be wearing a bit thin for Lilly now as the novelty of judging fades. This is Lilly's fifth win, I think.

I hope you're still keen, Lilly.

Great winning picture, only slightly spoiled by the COMPLETE LACK OF ANY COLOUR!

Is that Toronto?

at the colour comment

and I'm pretty sure its Vancouver, someone mentioned it in another thread.

Well done lilly! But I must commend John for the true win - Second place, the honour of winning and no judging to do

Well done Martin and Lilly.

And to all the other contributors who, in a less competitive field, might have earned the top prize. The overall standard was very high.

Apologies for being tardy but it has been a manic Monday.

OMG! another win, you are all probably get pretty fed up with me!(yes, lenscape it is 5, glad to hear you are keeping tally!)

However, Martin I have to say what an interesting and in depth appraisel you produced and in your second language, what a mammoth task it must have been, I thought my 30 odd entries for MOTION way back was a stiff task, I think you deserve first prize for 'I am the Judge'
It was a great show of images and very enjoyable to scroll thru'

It was taken in Vancouver 2 years ago on 35mm Delta but not with my new 10-20 Sigma, but with the good ol' Pentax 17-28 which now has become redundant in my 35mm over flow bag.
I do enjoy seeing an old photo taken come to life again, thank you for the prestigious award! Now you can have the fun and enter!

So, will have a think and post up the next one some time this evening.

Congratulations on winning again, Lilly - very impressive picture this week.

Martin - my picture was actually taken sometime in July and it was just one that I thought fitted the bill when I went through my photo library.

Also, the crop was done on the computer - but only because the rest of the picture was tourists and distracting trees.

Good judging this week. Very detailed!

Yeah, but who has the standard that the rest of the World sets its watch by?

Yay! For GMT

Yeah...yeah. And the rest of the world is driving on the wrong side of the street also

Would you be very upset if i pass this honour on to somebody with a bit more Masochistic nature.

Martin

Congratulations to Lilly (again ) and also to Martin for his sterling work on judging this competition.

With more and more entries submitted to these competitions the challenge really is to get second place (well done John!).

So I'm looking forward to the next one...

What an amazing collection of photos!!. Well done to all.

Martin thanks for your comments. You have inspired me to go back to the church when the light is better. I will attempt the shot again but using the iwder 10- 20 sigma as moving back and right would have been difficult. menatly as well as physicaly!

A happy start to the new year

Congratulations everybody and especially Martin for his judgement.

But then........You already passed judgement yourself, didn't you ?

I just thought I would make life a little bit easier for you.

But as you said it's been done many times but not by me and it is very unlikely that I shall do it again.
