Weekly competition 148 - catchlights

The usual place to discuss this week's weekly competition. I'll look in until we have our first entry, after that, PM any questions you may have to me.

Very fast first entry - so I will now leave this thread alone until Sunday - thank you.

Interesting that almost all the shots with eyes have the left hand eye (as you look at it) lower than the right hand one.

Maybe that's something to do with most people being right handed?

I'm trying to get my head round the concept of a 'left hand eye'.

Gee....I must ask Bforbes.

What did you do, go out side and ask the eagle to come into your studio and pose for you....and he was happy to do so???????

How did you get that shot!!!???

Nothing quite so exotic Judithann. We have a birds of prey conservation center near home. The eagle was tethered outside with a black fence in the background. All I had to do was wait for the profile shot to appear.

Oh Barrie....I LOVE that photo. I would hang that on my wall in a heart beat!

No matter if it is chosen for the catchlight comp or not, it is a fantastic shot!
