Weekly competition #190 Surreal

Absolutely down to whatever you want to do - editing a normal scene or an image that had you thinking "jings but thats strange". Subject was inspired by my first photography workshop at the weekend. Arrived at Castle Kilchurn to find the most amazing rainbow which resulted in three grown men who should have known better running about the field in the rain trying to find the best viewpoint.

Nice subject, I'll particularly enjoy this one.

Isn't it just the way. Didn't have my camera gear with me on the way home tonight when to my surprise a fish cycled past me at the traffic lights.

Definitely a missed opportunity.

Good to see everyone letting their imaginations run loose on this competition

It will be a tricky one to judge.

I've just had a look through the images and it's interesting that quite a few are shot with Pentax compacts. That's actually quite heartening as it means that no-one is excluded from the competition because they don't have a DSLR.

It's also interesting that it's not really possible to spot the compact shots from the DSLR ones. It's clearly the image that counts.
