Please remember that there should be no comments in the competition itself - a couple have been removed. If you want to comment, this is the comments thread, and the judge keeps out of here to make sure there is no undue influence on the judging.

After the deadline has passed and the judging posted, then post whatever you want in the competition itself or here, as you wish.

The removed comments can be put back later.

That still isn't a rule though and I'm actually looking when this was introduced because with the first competition this doesn't seem to matter, what has changed?

Does it matter Stefan? By common consent for a very long time judges have kept silent until the judging is over. If the judge indulged in conversation about the images as they were appearing that doesn't seem very wise, does it?

No it doesn't but hardly any comments about images are given here to begin with (which is a shame), most of the time it's about the subject matter or any other problems that arise.

Competition now over and judging complete, a big thank you to those of you who have entered.
