'Yun is a Tibetan term which refers to something's inherent, inner qualities - the essence of its richness and uniqueness. Anything can have yun, man-made or natural, people, places or things, rocks or trees as well as artefacts, objets d'art and the like. Yun does not mean showiness or material value. A favourite bowl from a junk shop can have more yun - perhaps because of its beautiful shape or glaze - than a very expensive antique. Your examples of yun, please.' A thread for comments and so forth.
