Weekly Competition # 84: A Face

Galoot
Posted 09/02/2009 - 17:29 Link
Your face, a friends face, her 'indoors' face, him 'indoors' face, the kids face, the Postman's face, . . . . well you get the idea.

A human face, not the dog's face or a clock face

Colour or B&W are fine, no objection to Photoshop'd images, just make it jump out of the screen at me.

With this one I really get kicked out of my "comfort zone".
But.....,I will try to get up with something, I hope........

Martin.

Interesting subject! Does it have to be a close up?

It would be out of my 'comfort zone' too, Martin. So I thought I would get the subject in before anyone else did

Ben76, I'm looking for the face to fill most of the frame, although, I could go to head and shoulders, i.e.

Hopefully the shoulders in my submission are not deemed to be excessive, but the composition seemed wrong with just a head

Me too

A nice subject for us misanthropes, you've even taken away our "get out clause" by defining the subject as a human face.

(Admins!! We need a "run away and hide" smilie! )
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

Just uploaded a shot, but think the colour's way off. My CRT monitor died last week, and my nice new TFT hasn't arrived yet, so I'm using a borrowed, cheap, TFT. Everything changes depending on where I've got my head.

Naaaaah, nothing strange here. It only means you passed the age of 20 and most likely 30. Probably 40 and even......maybe 50.

Martin. (almost in the maybe section)

I've spotted one that not only the face "jumps out of the screen".

Seriously now
Galoot will have a massive job to do. A lot of good entries so far, and still two full days to go. I wish him luck.

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.

I see a couple of members entered their own faces (you look good Emily). My entry is positively not a self portrait.
