Presumably this is meant to be where we currently live rather than where we were born or have lived in the past :

Can we put the chat about the images in the appropriate thread please?

Thanks!
Whoops!

My apologies.

Hyram, your confession would be safe with me. And I've been aground in Chichester Harbour more times than I care to count. Including right where you took that picture, if you took it where I think you did.

My entry this week is an older image from 2006. I still think it is one of my best pics from Warnemuende. If you want to see some more shots of Warnemuende taken in the last 2.5 years, here's a Picasa WEB album:

It was taken about one cable due west from Northney Marina.

It does not take too much practice to go aground in Chichester Harbour, although Poole Harbour is far worse, appearing to be enormous, but with much of it inaccessible to anything other than inflatables

That said I had to wait until there was no queue! And I know it looks like it slopes but it doesn't really the road does.
Sorry Mike, but I think you missed something here Altought the road does slope downhill to the left, the building itself is off to the right. Just look at the right side of the building and compare to the border of the picture. The awning is showing it also. PS measure tool says: 0,77 degrees of to the right.

Best regards,

Martin.

Ah but have you measured the counter? These chip shop johnnies are meticulous about that

They are an institution in Stourport being (I believe) long time Cypriot immigrants and I rather suspect they own lumps of the street by now. How anyone makes as much money through chips as they do I don't understand but they do and did!

I had the piss taken out of me while taking the shot by some yoofs who really quite pleasant about the luntaic dodging cars to take a snap of their chip shop.

When you think that there are maybe 30 houses tops (?) in Abercregan that makes it quite a small world!

My ex is known as English Alan apparently

Mike,

The road looks fairly level to me but the right hand side of the building appears to be suffering from subsidence - the eaves line definitely runs downhill, which may be exactly how it is.
