Just to clarify, is the competition about
* old school macro i.e. 1:1 or greater e.g 2:1
* pictures taken with a macro lens at any magnification
* just any close up 1:1, 1:3, 1:4, 3:1 etc
I know there are many definitions of macro photography out there so just want to check

Usual Pentax/Samsung site rules of course, additionally - shots must have been taken between 1st April 2011 and competition close.
I believe there maybe a few Gallery contributors particualry on this subject who would not normally enter the competitions so let's give them a little encouraging nudge if we can!
Good luck to all, it maybe a competition in name but let's just see your favourite shot - your best of the best Summer 2011.
