The subject is set and would have been earlier but for the forum being so slow I thought it had died....then I went out for the day.

Here's a real chance to get low down and dirty as we crawl on the woodland floor or find some other dark recess where these are found. In all their multitude of varieties!
Best regards, John

I might have to crawl around until September to find some. The morels are snaffled up by those who know their closely guarded whereabouts and it hasn't rained for a month.

There's always the greengrocers! I presume John wouldn't discriminate against captive-bred funguses.

But would the grocer mind customers crawling around on his floor.

I thought about buying a nice large mushroom for a macro shot but then I stumbled across something really shocking

Dr O, you can go through your archives.... this isn't they fortnightly assignment, after all.

However, having only had a Pentax since 25th Jan, I'm knackered.....and I'm not going to the supermarket.......maybe.

I know and I will, but I do like to submit a nice fresh shot for the competitions if I can.

I thought I was hallucinating when I saw DrO's picture of Fly Agarics

Under the Gallery section, there is a heading for competitions, which is where you will find the current weekly competition.

You upload your image directly from your PC.
