Fishing (sea) on a boat on Saturday hoping to snap all the catches. Sunday togging with two friends we are going to look for a river that emerges from a cave before cascading over three spectacular waterfalls. Sounds great doesn't it, I hope it lives up to expectations.

The deer rut is on in Richmond Park (or it was last week so I suspect it's still in full swing) so odds on i'll be there at the crack of sparrows on Sunday, especially as there may be some decent early sunlight combined with a spot of mist... (here's hoping). Rugby on the telly on Saturday morning...

It's likely to be a sunny weekend, so lots of possibilities for photography. Some bird shooting may well be on the agenda, I have an 80-400mm lens that hasn't really had a good workout yet.
Best regards, John

Rugby on sat am then off to Powburn in the afternoon to escape daughters sleep over, there is a campsite next to a nature reserve and got a booking for the motorhome, so will have a go with the 150-500 and then there is the pub in the village to test out and the chinese take away just for good measure.A walk in the Cheviots is a possibility on Sun am to blow away the cob webs.

I get a result either way as i am a half cast, mam from Glasgow and dad from Northumberland. If Scotland had done the job properly last week it would have been better all round
