#'s 1 and 3 do nothing for me Roger. #1 has a very messy background, while #3 just doesn't work, and the RH bird has lost its tail.

#2 on the other hand is super. Really like it The shadow makes it for me. Dunno how you got your flash up there .... lol

I disassemble my K7, remove the flash unit, gaffer-tape it to a long stick... et voila!

#2 - stunning - the contrast between the bird in flight and that sky - wonderful

I love the detail shown of his feathers and the fact that he's in motion - I don't think freezing the bird would have had quite the same effect - there's a sort of softness there [ not an OOF Softness ] that's most attractive

No.2 for me as well Roger.

No.1 appears to be a bit soft or oof around what should be the focal point, and that may be a little overexposed as well? I don't mind the bokeh in the bg of the first.
