Hi,
I use Serif Webplus. http://www.serif.com/webplus/
In this example for a photographer friend I've incorporated his Wordpress blog (the easy to use online version NOT the downloadable software)http://colinharvey.co.uk/
It is very easy to use, requires no coding knowledge BUT you can include HTML, scripts etc as you wish. This was done using Serifs built in Javascript slideshows.
I've also just completed an artists web site update this week with Lightbox linked thumbnails as well as auto run galleries. This site also has a client controlled simple blog framed in it. All very versatile. http://cathbakerpaintings.co.uk/
PS I use 123-reg.co.uk for domain and hosting. Very cheap. If you want to do full blown Wordpress though you will need Business level accounts as they allow the required databases. i just buy the cheap starter ones.

Can anybody suggest good website hosting companies, and if not Wordpress what other platform to produce a website?
