Wanted: Bellows and slide rails

I fancy having a crack at macro photography, so I'm after a decent bellows unit, M42 or K fitting. Anything out there?

Bellows units are available new from Premier Ink, priced at £50.

Macrobellows and Mr Cad sell used Bellows units. You will also need the camera adaptor rings. Prices for used do seem to be around the same as the Premier Ink supplied new ones.

I've got some M42 bellows if you're interested. They're Russian made, but boxed and in excellent condition.

I bought them last year to have a go at extreme macro shots, but have never really got around to it. I paid £20 for them, so would be happy to let them go for that (delivered somewhere in the UK)

Hi there, that sounds interesting. Can you give me a little more info? Can you describe the mechanism a bit? I'm a bit of a newb in this area but I'm looking for asomething I can mount on a tripod that will allow 2 stages of movement (camera back and lens)without moving the tripod. I've seen some that don't allow this to happen as the tripod fixing isn't independant of the rails movement (hope that makes sense).

I'm afraid that the tripod mount is fixed to the camera end of the bellows, so it may not be quite what you're looking for. You could use it with a focus rail to achieve what you're looking to do, though.

Thanks anyway, but not quite what I'm after, adding rails will up the cost a bit and funds are limited at present. I just missed an auction that closed at £24 delivered, so hopefully I'm not being unrealistic.
