Have you tried amazon.uk? They sometimes have some good deals on new and used equipment, along with a good selection of brands.

Yes I tried amazon but I have £10-15 budget. Unless I can find UV+Polarizing for £20.
Thanks

Give SRS a call? One of their employees told me they had a drawer full of old filters!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Thanks. I am still considering this one (the one from amazon) but £4.5 for shipping seems steep :/ doesn't it? It is £17.5 all together.

If I may throw a comment in - don't go cheap. I did and the flipping thing is almost useless and degrades the quality of the image. There's a reason why good filters cost so much ...

Seconded I got a cheap one by accident, and the camera will no longer infinity focus with it on.

Hence why I did not respond. You can do it once right, or many times over due to cheap.

Thanks for your comments. Really there is no point getting lets say Hoya for 20 quit? Will it damage the picture quality?

I can't comment as I haven't used one but given this exists and sells (I assume) I doubt that a 20 quid lens will be as good.
Can't see the point of spending a fortune on a good lens to stick a coke bottle on the end of it. I know I'm being unkind but there must be some reason one filters costs 80 quid and the other 20. Possibly because it has the word digital in its name.

Try a second hand LINEAR filter. People think they need circular polarisers so the linear ones go for less on ebay. Hoya ones go for under £20 usually and Hoya is a brand I would trust.
The linear ones work, no matter what anyone tries to tell you - on Pentax at least. The picture here was taken using a second hand Hoya linear pol: link I can't see any reduction in image quality whatsoever, and the sky is considerably darkened.
As far as people spending £££ on premium filters, I have a nagging suspicion a lot of it's down to clever marketing, although the bargain basement brands are definitely worth avoiding like the plague.

Hoya didn't do so well in this CPL review, even though the same site's UV filter review ranked Hoya as 1st, 2nd and 4th.
You should be able to get a good quality 52mm CPL for a whole lot less than £80. I got my 77mm Marumi CPL (ranked 4th out of 25 in the above review) for about £60.
