I was going to put one of these on sale last year and had typed the
following and posted the photos (to a server) and then decided not
to go ahead, because it's such a nice sharp lens even though I
rarely use it and also have the 85mm and 120mm. I also didn't
want to break up the trio.
If it's of any interest at £115 inc RMND (By 1pm) Delivery to UK
please let me know. Payment by Bank Transfer, Paypal (Gift) or
cash deposit at any branch of Barclays in the UK.
If (after 3 days) Nass isn't interested I'm willing to let it
go to any other interested pentaxian at the same price.
=====PASTE==========================================
Body : Excellent condition, no serious marks, just a slight bit of normal
handling wear/patina on the rubber grip, which is normal for M Series
lenses. There is a very slight mark on the bottom of the
aperture ring 2-3mm long, (see picture) probably from resting camera on a
wall or similar, although it does look like a manufacturing defect.
The Gold JCII PASSED sticker shows very slight signs of wear,
(usually a good sign of how a lens has been handled).
The lens has been very carefully looked after.
Glass: Immaculate... no haze, fungus, cleaning marks, or scratches, there
might be some very fine specks of dust inside lens, but I can't see any so
I must be going blind if there is.
Mechanics: Aperture ring works perfectly. Snappy aperture, no oil on blades,
stops down quickly to the set shooting aperture. The focus is positive, which
is about normal for a telephoto and perfect for the way I use this type
of lens.
Bayonet shows hardly any signs of use.

Small mark on Aperture ring (lower right) hardly noticeable.

PRICE: £115 including RMND (By 1pm) Delivery to UK or Insured Post to Irish Republic.

One of my favourite lenses, Algernon. Your version looks in lovely condition.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Amazing detail. The M series 100mm f/2.8 and 85mm f/2
are two very underrated lenses.
