Jeff Lynne was known for experimenting with every instrument he could lay hands on. I suspect Olivia Newton John was an experiment too far!

I'm pretty sure that ELO also recorded a version without her, as I have an album of theirs with that song on which all the voices are male (presumably the band). Sounds a lot better!

So it was you who bought Ms Neutron bomb's record!...I often wondered who it was......I play it all the time at Barrasford Park..it scares the Grey Squirrels away!.........Beats shooting them!
