Vivitar close focus 28mm lens

An odd little lens that I bought from a forum member and used a few times. It has a certain charm and creates images with a pleasant and distinct character. I simply haven't used it.

Optically and mechanically perfect BUT the filter ring has a dink as illustrated. You can get a filter on and off but it's a sweaty job.

It's 28mm f2.8 and goes to 1:5 close up.

As usual with Vivitar excellent sharpness and colour rendition.

Fully manual focus and no A setting.

FRont and rear caps no box.

The guy I bought it from created some excellent shots from it but I never got on with it.

£20 plus delivery of buyer's choice?

I also have one and it is superb for close focus photography. I haven't tried it with landscapes or anything else though.

Great colours and very sharp, even wide open!

I have the same or very similar lens and although it does not state close focus the focus distance is the same - bizarre but a great lens

If I didn't have one I would buy it

No I'm sorry it was sold, I should have posted this earlier.

Still got the far more useful 100mm Vivitar macro though.
