Auto-import is known to be a wholly useless facility. The advice is to do it manually.

The auto import in vista works (well worked!) a treat. It puts eveything in a folder within a folder with the date of import as the tittle. Just a matter of pluging the camera in and everything is where it should be. I just cant seem to get it to change folder this month!!

I'm running Vista Ultimate when i plug my K110D in it asks you first weather to auto import or view the Folder if you import it it goes in to your My Pictures Folder (same as XP) and it makes a folder with the date if you need to put the pic's in another folder you just need to Browse the folder and just cut and past all the Pentax Software works no problems
