Hello all Q users!

Did you know it's possible to activate autofocus during video with the Q10....by holding the 'OK' button in?

Does this apply to all Q's?
Regards,
Michael

Not with the original Q, I just tried.

But are you sure though? Maybe you have just set a hyperfocal distance/small aperture.

You can do this on the K30 so would imagine you can do it in some of the other Pentax range.

Yep, I downloaded the Q10 manual p108.
Also the Q7 manual p32.
Seems they added this as the Q cannot AF during movie recording.
Not that the Q video IQ is very good anyway.

Yes, but the Q isn't a DSLR so AF would be silent and ought to be very fast.

Yes thats true - I always manual focus instead but AF is there if you want it.

I guess it depends on what you compare it to
The K-01 and K-50 are much better I find, and the results I get from the MX-1 are very good.
