not a bad set at all, you just need some nice glass on there now like a siggy 70-200mm f2.8. or something simular.

Love #3, nd #4 second fave. it's not easy getting the 'impression of speed' shots with a low shutter speed and getting the move ign object sharp as well.
I've just finished editing a shoot from a Stock Car meet I went to a month ago. Didn't get many keepers of that type.
Stock car meets are great shooting locations though. Must go to another one this year at least.

These are great ,they have an energy that is really hard to define let alone capture, well done. I went to stock car racing in the 60S in south london and I thought that the whole point was they where STOCK CARS ie cars that you could go in to a car dealer and buy and then race in a stock car race. I saw Morris oxfords and Austin cambridges Wolseys and Ford poplars being trashed and Smashed and then driven home in the self same car by my Dad. With a bag of chips and a bottle of R Wights Lemonade . Great days ...Jeff

The days of 'STOCK CARS' have long gone as you can see from my photos. These are great ,they have an energy that is really hard to define let alone capture, well done. The cars these days are all 'specials' hand built from the ground up, with a price tag to match too.

Very First Shots With My New K5 - F1 Stock Cars @ Coventry - 6th August
These are the very first shots from my new K5.
I'm really impressed with the AF speed amongst other things. I know it was a big outlay but I think it's going to be worth it.
K5 + Siggy 70-300 APO lens.
All taken from the back of the grandstand, the weather went from showers to dry then very cloudy to bright sunshine.
The drying track created lots of dust ( glad I was in the grandstand at the back ) but the K5 didn't seem to struggle focusing throught it.
