Using in camera image tone option

With regard to the K10 in camera options, using the option that enhances tone and sharpness, what are peoples experiences with this? Do people think that their images benefit from this option as far as image quality is concerned, or does it simply disturb with the natural colours and tones? I personally I have been inclined to use this option in the past, not wanting to ruin a perfectly good image. I know I should find the time to do a few experiments with this, but thought I would drop a line to pentaxians before hand to see what we all think.

The way colours are rendered can be positive to the image but I do that after wards at home, when I can sit and can take all the time for it.

One of the reasons why I shoot RAW, I just don't want to be bothered with those camera settings while shooting.

Also you can experiment all you want then and get it perfect.
