Using a different PC

I tried to log on to the site on my work PC (during my lunch time, of course ) but for some reason it would not allow me even though I was using my normal login name and password. Am I not allowed to log on from another PC. Do I have to have a different login name, etc?

You can log in from any PC but maybe your work administrators have only a restricted range of sites that are allowed.

I've logged in from other peoples computers before with no problems. also with my laptop off other, networks, no probs.
possible that the other computer you used didn't have "permission" to log into unauthorized sites, as a security measure.

Heck you'd like the stuff I'm working on these days using vnc and client software to remote operate one computer (my laptop when it's being used in my robot) from another (my desktop), over a network and internet.

I log on to this site from both home and work with no problems.

I too have no problems logging onto my work comp. But do have too login each time on my work comp. And it wont display images within the forum. There are some sites i cant access such as photobucket and E-bay

It has something to do with cookies. When I was at university I couldn't log on to a forum without being logged out again after viewing 2-3 pages. I had to log in repeatedly to be able to get anything done.

I tried to log on to ePz at the library and it wouldn't allowme, displaying the message that cookies weren't allowed on the (library) machine.

Oh my god....if that happened to me, what would I do all day ?

Whatever the problem was, it has gone away. I tried again today and there I was logged in.
