Used K1 price

Does anyone know what a used K1 is going for, now that the K1ii seems to be on the horizon. I presume that when the K1ii is released the price of the original K1 will drop which will in turn affect the cost of a used one.

Would you sell now if you were planning on upgrading to the K1ii while the price is still high or risk the bottom falling out of the used value ?

Not on the basis of a rumour, especially given how long Pentax take to release new gear. And anyway on the basis of what has been issued so far I am not interested in trading up. I am also willing to bet there will be a price increase for K1-II, and just possibly there will be a launch deal offering a good trade-in.

That's what I would imagine, same happened for the k-5 to k-5IIs and K-3 to K-3II.

Was just wondering when would likely be a good Time to try and get a K1, may wait and see what happens.

The K-1 being the 1st Pentax FF (First Edition) is a collectors item so it will shoot up in value!

I think the used price might drop marginally but only because of people upgrading to the K1ii. The used price of the camera floats around £1100-£1200 and I don't think it'll budge all too much until the summer, even after the K1ii is released.
