Used ISDs with Kit Kens

A connection at work has a used Isds and kit lens for sale. I was thinking of getting something like this for my daughter. Havent seen it yet but assuming it is in good condition how much do you think I should pay for it. He hasn't mentioned money yet and I don't know him well enough to expect any favours.
What do you feel is the max I should pay for it.
Any advice greatfully received.

If he was asking that price, I would say you'd do better getting a new K100D for about £300.

Although, having said that, a quick browse only really shows K100D Supers, which are about an extra £60. I'm sure there would still be stock of the K100D about though.

Just deleted the url , but a DS with kit lens sold for £160 earlier this evening.
